We're beginning to see some trees in bloom and it's truly a sign of hope and good things to come. We are about 2 weeks+ ahead of last year's Blooming Brief for these trees. We saw Magnolia first in bloom last year around April 24th, 2019 and Dogwoods weren't spotted in bloom until Memorial Day weekend last year but a couple of years prior we saw them blooming in early April as we're seeing this year. Bloom times vary year-to-year depending on the weather, tree location and other site conditions.
First up, Magnolia Trees! These beauties are a bright and refreshing sight!
Magnolia Trees are in bloom this week! Have you spotted any in your neighborhood? These blooms are such a special and beautiful early spring treat. They hold their buds tightly until they suddenly burst open on a warm sunny spring day. Magnolia flowers have a sweet fragrant scent, the trees come in single trunk form or clump form and come in all different colors, pink, white, yellow and more!
Some people attribute Magnolia Trees to have special meaning and they do make a beautiful tree to plant for special occasions such as the birth of a baby, moving into a new home, or birthdays and anniversaries. These trees make wonderful gifts for loved ones and friends or can be planted simply for yourself to enjoy!
